It’s all systems go on the Backlash this week... I’m pleased to report (as are my tender vocal chords) that the singing has been completed on the album. It all took a bit longer than I would have liked, but hey - what ya gonna do?

 

We began mixing the record today and I always find this part of the production the most satisfying bit, not just because the finish line is in sight - but because you can really get to play with the songs and get the best out of the bits.

 

 

All the fun of the fair, I’m off to NYC with LC and PF this week - should be lethal bizzle - I’m looking forward to a large piece of toasted cow to celebrate all this week’s hard work. So when will this mother be finished I hear (some of) you cry - well that is a good question, seeing how we’ve run out of money for the second time... but I would imagine mixing and mastering would be completed by the end of Feb, which would put a mid-May/June release on the cards; I’m gunning for May though - so those of you that can spread the word, please start spreading it.

 

Also, I’m on the look out for a nice board to use on the site - let’s sack the old one, it’s balls - so if anyone uses a nice one (we don’t mind paying for it) please email me a recommendation.
