I booked more time today with Harvey to go back into the studio and lay down vocals, percussion and mix the record. We’re all busting for you to hear what we’ve been doing. I’m really excited about it. So those dates for the JPL biographer are Jan 27th - Feb 5th.

 

I’m going to try and rip through some STA stuff today; we have a volunteers meeting next week and I have to get organised for it. Oppenheimer, Fickle and Playthings all have records out this year as well as our own - there’s a lot more happening at STA now than there was when OLAS came out. Which is a good thing - but it requires lots of concentration; hours from our volunteer staff and my staying off the drink at the weekend - which is not easy kids.

 

Spoke to Cahir last night on the telephone - hopefully he’ll back over to England just before the Seafood European tour and we can get rocking on some b-side music ideas for a Backlash single. I still haven’t come up with a good enough idea for a video... hmmm... Jamie thinks we should be on horseback riding across the beach - but Cahir is allergic to horses so that scuppers that idea. Perhaps he could fire a starters pistol at the beginning of the vid?

 

Just off the phone with Andy Clone Quartet - they’re nice guys, would like to get them over for a few shows this year and onto AD4. Oh, if anyone that reads this has ideas about bands we could book for AD4 - let me know, the sooner we get rolling on that the better. Fugazi reformation would be good ...
